I think that might be true with any creative profession. For example, there is great drive in people who sing, but if you look at American Idol, for example, it is the ones that work the hardest, like Daughtry, Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Hudson, Adam Lambert, some who won the competition and some who didn't, who worked their butts off afterwards. They caught a break, for sure, with the exposure, but what they did with that break was entirely up to them. Haven't you already shown it can be done (acting and writing)? Now you need to put something on Kickstarter and let us help you make an independent movie.

I've never seen DogTooth but if it's anything like Lars von Trier's AntiChrist...think I will wait awhile. I'm open to seeing it all as well...but in moderation :)

That sounds awesome. I had never heard of those before for athletic use, but it sounds really interesting. I'd love to try it someday.

Though I think MIT has a lot of life potential as a series, I always hoped it would be adapted as a film first. Since I am of advanced years relative to you, you better not dilly dally on getting this film made. Granny is way closer than I care to consider.

I totally agree with the switching heads thing. I graduated from drama school recently and have dived into writing as I love both acting and writing (although at the moment more prose than script) and it is a really difficult thing. Taking heart from your journey though, and throwing myself into both :)

Fashion items of mass destruction right there Michelle. Last year I was going through security at Heathrow airport when myself and the guy in front of me were asked to step aside with our hand luggage. They confiscated a bottle of water from me, but I was more interested in the conversation security were having with the other guy. "Sir, have you handled any explosive material recently?". The guy was like "eh, hmm, no". My jaw dropped. Unfortunately I don't know how that panned out as security told me to move on once they had my... water.
